Duration : 6+Months

   7+ years database design and administration experience.

·         Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer science and 7 to 12
years of experience in database support, design, and architecture, or a
combination of equivalent education and work experience in a 24x7 support
environment.

·         Two or more years of experience in supporting Securities
Investment Group trading environment and knowledge of Fixed Income business
unit functions and applications.

·         Extensive work experience as an Oracle Database Administrator
partnering with development teams and customers to gather requirements on
complex projects and provide database design configurations and solutions
that focus on performance and availability.

·         Ability to work with a strong sense of urgency for highly time
sensitive deliverables in a dynamic trading environment driven by financial
markets.

·         Take lead role in implementation of database projects that
require collaboration across various infrastructure teams and to integrate
best practices and efficiencies into production environments while
mitigating risk through testing and capacity planning.

·         Analyze and identify database performance issues and bottlenecks,
serve as escalation point for problem resolution, and drive recovery
through root cause investigation.

·         Extensive knowledge of Oracle 10g, 11g, and Oracle RAC database
design and implementation of high availability and recovery models;
including setup, configuration, and monitoring of database recovery
strategies such as replication and clustering.

·         Additional familiarity in database design and support of other
platforms utilized in Wells Fargo Securities including Sybase and Microsoft
SQL Server
