This candidate will be working on a team of 5 DBA's maintaining and supporting the SQL Server. The majority of this positions responsibility will be traditional DBA services. In addition, there are two main compnents. The first will be small system application support (Sars_Grid, Raisers Edge, Compass, etc.). This includes scheduling upgrades / problem-solving with a consultant. Additional duties may include tasks such as creating architectural diagrams in Visio and similar tools. The candidate should be comfortable performing Ad hoc reporting support, with Reporting Services , Crystal Reports. The traditional DBA support entails the daily care and feeding of the SQL_Server engine, and associated databases for these packages / systems: Lenel (keyless entry), ID Number, Marketing Services, PrintShop, Raisers Edge, Sars Grid, ServiceDesk Plus, EBMS (Conference Center), Workplace Manager, Pharos, Virtual Ticket, and other new ones, as need arises. This candidate will be responsible for the support of all SQL_Server databases which the group has installed.
