Duration: 6-12 +Months Contract*
*Intermediate (mid-Level) .Net/ Entity Framework / SQL Developer:*
As a member of the software development team, you will leverage your strong
technical skill-set and creativity to design, develop and implement
innovative products using .NET 4.0, MVC, Entity Framework or similar ORM,
and SQL Server with special emphasis on .Net, Entity Framework and
JavaScript.
The successful applicant must be able to perform each of the following
essential functions:
Contribute collaboratively within a creative and fast paced environment,
designing innovative solutions that are architecturally solid and scalable.
Drive new feature development without requiring regular supervision
Work within an Agile development environment and has knowledge of Agile
development; adhering to process standards and best practices and a good
understanding of daily scrums, sprint planning and retros.
Demonstrate an ability to break down complex problems into smaller tasks
that can be systematically prioritized and addressed.
Develop strong coding solutions using .Net, JavaScript, and SQL that
perform and fit well within the context of a larger product.
Proactively identify and communicate risks or delays that may affect the
overall health of a project.
Works as a team member in a team environment, sharing information and
helping others
Has a positive attitude towards the tasked work and the work environment
Customer Service-oriented
Works in a sense of urgency because of the Agile 2 week sprints
Is flexible and able to change with the work environment and industry
Likes to have fun in a relaxed environment, but knows when to work and meet
deadlines
*Required Skills & Experience:*
2+ years’ experience with .NET in a production environment, and also using
JavaScript, and Microsoft SQL Server.
2 or more years’ experience designing and implementing information systems,
with a strong focus on distributed, client/server and container-based web
architectures.
Computing Science or equivalent
Special Consideration will be given to candidates who have experience with
JSON, Bootstrap, Moustache templates, or any additional OSS.
