Software QA Consultant with Web Services and REST API Exp
Location: Philadelphia, PA

*Responsibilities*
Provide support to the software development team in all aspects of
testing.
Identify, design and develop testing solutions for REST APIs by
verifying HTTP responses, methods and headers
Facilitate Web Services testing and performance testing in a cloud
environment.
Document all aspects of test scripts including design and approach
documents
Develop test cases based on product requirements.

*Required Skills/Experience*
At least 5-6 years of professional experience in Quality Assurance.
At least 3 years experience testing Web Services preferably in an Agile
environment.
Good understanding and experience in working with REST APIs, verifying
HTTP responses, methods, headers
Experience working with UNIX/Linux operating systems
Some experience with scripting and/or JAVA
Bachelors Degree or Equivalent (Ideally in engineering or computer
science)

*Desired Background*
Background in cable (or background in one or more of Comcast's
products will be ideal)
Automated testing experience on UNIX or Linux platforms for both GUI
and command line interfaces.
Experience with test and defect management tools such as Rally,
Firebug, HTTP watch, JMeter etc.
