Please include your employer details as well. *Job Title* Android Developer *Project Location* San Diego CA *Duration* 12 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI: Telephonic and Face to Face* Strong Android Developer, strong Java. someone who has published stuff in app marketplace would be great. Key things: Android SDK development experience. and Fit with the team. Strong communication skills. Development team is boys' network. Someone with poor English skills wouldn’t work. Will not sponsor but okay with H1s. Discourages it but will look at it. But will not convert. No guarantees but will be there indefinitely. Android isn't going anywhere. Everything they're doing is going to be off Android platform. Could go into next year. Telecommuting: will have daily phone calls for Agile Scrum meetings. Probably 1-2 days per week of full days in office. Or in office fulltime.. *Someone who has published multiple apps in the marketplace*. Developing in Android for 3-4 years. Possible conversion but no guarantee. *Will start with phone interview with HR, then a phone interview with team. Then 3 hours onsite with team.* Requirements The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a technical major or equivalent work experience. Must have a minimum of 5 years technical experience in software research and development. A minimum of 2 years’ experience with Android development is also required. We are looking for candidates who have deep experience in Android core SKD development and object-oriented coding. Must have experience with architecting frameworks, especially as it relates to gaming. Must also have expert knowledge in software design and implementation. Candidates should be renaissance engineers with a global perspective. They should have strong communication skills; excel at time management, decision making, and presentation and organization skills.
