Hi I have an urgent requirement with one of my clients, details given below. *Job Title* VB.NET Developer *Project Location* Brooklyn, NY *Duration* 36 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI: Telephonic and Face to Face* * Required Skills* - *VB.Net, win form* and web form development, Web Services Development, *Oracle PL/SQL*, Stored Procedures and functions - Minimum 8 Years Experience with writing application software, data analysis, data access - Minimum 8 Years Experience with data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation - Minimum 8 Years Experience with technical and user documentation, software conversions - Minimum 8 Years Exposure to environments including but not limited to mainframe, mid range, personal computers, laptops - Minimum 8 Years Leading in the design of program specifications and the implementation of software solutions. *Job Description* - Develop, implement, and monitor information technology quality assurance standards. - Provide assistance to MIS technical support staff when they are unable to resolve a program, database, or IT issue by themselves. - Occasionally contact customers as needed to clarify the intent of a new feature or resolve a problem. - Provide general programming assistance to other MIS programmers/projects as needed. - Perform System Design/Coding. - Work with MIS staff (e.g. managers, senior programmers, support staff, product manager) to plan program code implementation, enhancements and changes. - Create, test and maintain program code. - Design reports, audit trails/logs, security mechanisms. - Perform Testing/Evaluation. - Tests programs and systems and integrates system modules. - Develop, implement, and monitor information technology quality assurance standards. - Assist in system stress test.
