Develop Hadoop architectural approach to meet key business objectives · Must have excellent coding knowledge in Map/MapReduce, Java and Shell Scripts. · Must have excellent coding knowledge in Hadoop tools i.e Hive, HBase, Pig, Pivotal HD tools, Scoop etc.. · Must able to run and debug the code. Must able to do code walkthrough/review on day to day basis and provide inputs. Follow agile model and must able to come up with a plan for Unit testing/Test cases/expected Results, Integration testing/Cases/Expected results and work with business team for UAT. · Work with business owners, analysts, solution engineers, development teams and infrastructure services to communicate Hadoop application and data architectures · Take directions from leadership and execute independently. Need good experience in On/Offshore Model · Conduct vendor analysis and proof-of-concepts for new Hadoop technologies/solutions · Good presentation skills are must.
