*Job Title : Teradata DBALocation : Rocky hill, CTDuration : 6-12+Months Contract* *Job Qualifications:* Degree in applicable area of expertise or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in the Information Technology profession. 3+ years of experience working with DBMS. 2+ years of Teradata DBA experience. Should have hands on experience with Data Modeling Demonstrated complex analytical problem solving skills. Ability to work multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to influence technical solutions in a technical forum. Broad knowledge of relational database technologies. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Experience with using the following Teradata Utilities: Bteq, multiload, fastload, fastexport, Tpump, TPT, TD explain utility, visual explain, TSET, TD Index Wizard, TD Statistics Wizard, ViewPoint, and SQL Assistant. Detailed knowledge of Teradata system tables. CASE and/or data modeling tools experience, preferably ERWin with experience in generating DDL, and LDM to PDM migration.
