*Role: **Software Engineer V – Java Developer (9+ Years Mandatory)* *Location: **San Jose, CA * *Duration:** 6 + Months * *Responsibilities:* *Primary Job Responsibilities* We are seeking a Software Developer to help grow our consulting offering. The individual will be responsible for helping drive successful solutions throughout the entire project lifecycle, from ideation, through development, and post go live, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the technical solution and working closely with development teammates in the Scrum process, including Engineering, Business Development, and Information Security to ensure a quality technical solution and customer satisfaction goals are met. * Job Requirements: *• Propose and drive new enhancements based on growing understanding of PayPal business. • Interact with Account Management, Business Units, and Engineering to gather requirements. • Work with stakeholders in PD, QA and Business to create solutions • Frequently interfaces with other functional teams on all aspects of a feature or sub-system. • Strategic thinker with proven problem solving skills, with the ability to work within a team to meet support goals and objectives • Highly energetic personality: great team player • Flexible and able to adjust priorities as situation demands • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, work in a fast-paced environment and accomplish results through influence while meeting deadlines • Team player with demonstrated ability to execute across a cross-functional team • Develop strong working relationships across levels and functions.
