Please let me know if you have any available resources to kishore.kani...@cybsearch.com *Description: **Chef Developer* *Location: St. Louis, MN or Dallas, TX or Atlanta, GA * *Length: 6 months* Role Description: The person will be responsible for delivering automation solution for installing both infrastructure (VMs, Network and Storage) and Applications (OpenStack cloud management platform). The work will require the person to understand complex pre-existing cookbooks, extending them and keeping the code in sync with other related client projects. The person will also be responsible for understanding and documenting requirements and delivering design documents and deployment guides. The role will offer plenty of opportunities to influence the clients by demonstrating new capabilities. Requirements: 1. 3+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure and applications deployment automation using Chef, Puppet or tools from BMC, IBM or HP in large client projects. 2. 1+ years of Chef project experience. 3. Experience in using CI/CD methodology and tools. 4. Experience in leading small, distributed teams of developers. 5. Good communication skills with the ability to discuss requirements, design and code with client planners and architects. 6. Motivated to thrive in a fast paced environment delivering automation for a high-profile client project with aggressive schedules. 7. Experience with Chef cookbooks for OpenStack will be a strong plus. 8. Experience in using Knife or other automation solutions for VMware environment will be a strong plus.
