*Location: San Jose, CA*

*Duration: 3-6 months  *

Manage multiple project teams/streams comprising of 50 to 100 members.

Should have good exposure to BI & Big Data. Nice to have hands on
experience,

Manage issues related to project delivery by:

- Taking ownership of projects

- Liaising with the Program Manager

- Liaising with the Practice Director

- Interacting with the client

Manage risks by:

- Identifying risks

- Strategizing risk mitigation, transference and acceptance

- Monitoring and addressing risk events

Monitor and report project progress by:

- Meeting business reporting requirements

- Measuring performance versus plan

- Identifying and managing risks

- Updating project plans

- Ensuring technical quality and appropriate sign off at every stage of the
project

- Project budget tracking on a weekly basis and provide project profit and
loss

Prepare resource plan and budgets for all the projects

Identify lean periods and raise flags in advance to allow identification of
new projects

Assist Program Manager/Solutions Center Head in preparing technical /
commercial proposals.

Responsible for staffing and assimilating technical facilities for the
project.

Ensure 100% compliance of the SEPG processes.

Communicate constantly with the Program Manager and with the client on
issues/ status regarding execution of the project.

Allocate and monitor task deliverables by:

- Scheduling tasks and setting deadlines

- Monitoring progress and taking appropriate corrective action on variances

- Reviewing deliverables

Manage human resources by:

- Setting Key Result Areas and expectations for each team member

- Supervising and monitoring team performance

- Reviewing performance and recommending appropriate actions

- Identifying and recommending staff augmentation and development
requirements

- Keeping a tab on burnout and attrition levels

Manage Issues by:

- Identifying them proactively and in advance

- Identify owner and target date for resolution

- Arrive at resolutions through consensus

- Tracking, managing and escalating appropriate issues in time

Manage Scope by:

- Capturing all elements in scope item, whether charging additional to the
customer or not.

- Keeping a signed off Change Request Document for each chargeable scope
item.

Focus on value delivered to the customer and constantly work with their
client facing counterparts

Pay attention to project details and be hands-on with the team and their
efforts
