Please find the job description below and send me your consultant resumes along with the contact details ASAP at a...@pullskill.com *Title: HP ALM Admin* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Rate : 40$/hr MAXLocation: Washington, DC* *Job Description* - Support improving and driving HP Application Lifecycle Management usage, best practices and enhancements for Information Technology Quality Assurance (QA) - Uses analytical skills, advanced knowledge of VBScripting, Structured Query Language (SQL) and Excel Macro to perform complex workflow analysis as well as capture, analyze and communicate metrics for IT-QA - Collaborates with various internal teams (QA team, IT teams) and external (business units) teams on improvement efforts and reporting on trends. - Serves as liaison with the teams, vendors, the Business and the Business Analysts on technical issues and approaches as well as recommends quality improvements. - Understands and contributes to long-term product and system vision from the business perspective and is responsible for the technical roadmap activities for ALM and assuring that any new development being done to the platform aligns with the IT roadmap. - Stays current on ALM best practices and new technology developments. - Presents ALM Architecture proposals to the IT Architecture team when new application requirements propose a change in System Architecture. - Skills, knowledge and abilities - Understands and considers standard concepts, best practices and procedures related to application development. - Expertise in a limited number of programming languages/application systems while becoming increasingly familiar with additional programming languages and/or application systems. - Working knowledge of multiple application systems/business functions with expertise in selected systems/functions. - Working knowledge of business goals, software quality standards and best practices. - Communicates effectively with all levels of employees, both technical and non-technical. - Establishes cooperative relationships with departments - Facilitates small to medium project testing team meetings effectively, accurately and timely. - Searches for and identifies alternative and/or innovative solutions to technical problems. - Uses planning skills to manage and complete projects on time and on budget. - Exercises sound judgment when making decisions. - Quickly adapts to multiple demands and rapidly changing priorities. - Advanced written and verbal communication skills. - Self-starter *Education and Experience Requirements * Bachelor's degree - Experience working with Hewlett-Packard Application Lifecycle Management (HP ALM),Quality Testing Tools, including HP Scorecard, HP UFT - Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) SQL - Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, complex formulas, macros and vlookups. - Experience designing, implementing, administering, upgrading and operating HP ALM - Experience collecting and deriving Key Performance Indicators (KPI). - Experience performing ALM administration, migration and customization. - Knowledge of QA processes and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Experience using VB Scripting and any additional scripting languages. - Experience in documenting processes and manual testing and QA testing activities including test planning, test case design, test execution and defect management - Minimum 5 yrs or more experience in QA with HP Tools *Thanks* *Adam* *201 - 497 - 1010 X 103* *a...@pullskill.com <a...@pullskill.com>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "IT provider" group.
