*Location: Framingham, MA*

*Duration: 1 + Year*


*Development Responsibilities–70%*

Overview

The ServiceNow Developer applies innovative technology to business
processes in order to provide development of new and maintenance to
existing core applications within ServiceNow. Creates custom applications
and workflow to meet needs of business using LTF SN Development/Design
Standards. Provide development leadership and guidance to SN
Administrators. Suggests modifications to existing processes where
applicable to enhance ServiceNow delivery efforts.

Bi-Weekly

•                    Complete assigned development activities to ensure
bi-weekly releases are completed accurately and in a timely fashion.

•                    Write and execute test plans and assign testing tasks
to validate functionality

•                    Partner with LTF Support Resources to ensure
requirements are clearly stated prior to development of solutions to
minimize re-work.

•                    Recommend solutions based on knowledge of ITIL and
business best practices.

•                    As needed

•                    Address application defects post implementation in a
timely fashion.

•                    Review SN Upgrade and Patch Release Notes and
thoroughly test new functionality in lower environments.

•                    Work with LTF Technical Resources to solution
integration and integration testing.

ServiceNowAdministrationResponsibilities–10%

Overview

The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for providing solutions to
incidents that occur that require an advanced skillset. Will act as an
escalation point for SN Administrators needing additional support to
resolve disruptions in service. Acts as a backup to the SN Administrator.
Responsibilities include:

*Daily*

•                    Break/fix (restores service as quickly as possible)s

*As Needed*

•                    Creation and maintenance of advanced reports

•                    Work with SN Support to determine root cause of
problems.

ServiceCatalog and Self Service PortalResponsibilities–20%

*Overview*

TheServiceCatalogprovidestheabilitytorequestavailableserviceandproductsbasedonaneasytousecatalogformat.TherearetwoentrypointstotheServiceCatalog,throughtheServiceNowapplicationaswellasthroughtheESS
(Self Service)portal.



TheServiceCatalog aims to ensure
accuracyandavailabilityoftheitemsprovidedwithinthecatalog.Responsibilitiesinclude:

As Needed

·         Provide support to ServiceNow Admin to build and maintain catalog
items and advanced workflow.

·         Ensure system upgrades do not affect existing functionality.

·         Maintain ESS Portal and ensure CMS upgrades are seamless.



*Skills Needed:*

·         At least 3-4 years of IT experience in
development/support/analyst positions

·         ServiceNow Development experience – 2 years

·         JavaScripting – 2 years

·         HTML/CSS experience – 2 years

·         Jelly (preferred)

·         Working knowledge of XML and Web Services (SOAP/REST)

·         Excellent Verbal and Written Communication to be able to
communicate solution to non-technical business partners/customers within
the company

·         Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

·         Ability to work independently and in a team environment



*Certifications Required:*

•                    ITIL Foundations v3

•                    ServiceNow Administrator

•                    ServiceNow Advanced Certification (preferred)
