*Position Description*
- Create and manage OneOps environments for existing systems.
- Responsible for OneOps pack structure implementation.
- Responsible for developing new pack for an existing platform.
- Responsible for managing and deploying OneOps.
- Responsible for managing no SQL databases( Cassandra ) for OneOps.
- Build, Install, and Configure an Inductor.
- Develop and script necessary steps to ensure continuous deployments.
- Develops Innovation strategies, processes, and best practices.
- Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects.
- Leads and participates in medium- to large-scale, complex,
cross-functional projects.
- Leads the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with
high level design.
- Promotes and supports company policies, procedures, mission, values, and
standards of ethics and integrity.
- Provides supervision and development opportunities for associates.
- Supports business objectives
- Troubleshoots business and production issues.
- Utilizes industry research to improve Cognizant's technology environment.
*Minimum Qualifications*
Experience building scalable ecommerce applications.
8+ years’ experience in software industry Understanding, experience with
incremental development cycles and continuous deployment.
Proficient in: * Model and Schema for OneOps
* Catalog Design Relations
* Configuration Management System (CMS) by the
Packer/Circuit.
* RMS CMS API (Java based rest api to manage model,
assemblies, environment.)
* Elastic search API
* Active MQ
* No SQL DB expericen is a
plus
* Linux commands and libraries
* Shell scripting
* Git, SVN, CVS
* One of deployment tools: Chef, Puppet, or Jenkins
* Web server management: Jetty/Tomcat, Rails,
Postgres
* CMS DB Postgres 9.1 or above
