(Install on multiple platforms) • Implement and test metadata interfaces Develop/modify metadata interfaces using Rochade APIs Customize Rochade graphical user interfaces. • Maintain expertise in all technical aspects of the Rochade metadata repository. • Serve as the focal point for all technical issues and questions on assigned accounts. • Perform customer needs analysis and design Rochade applications and customizations while setting appropriate customer expectations. • Support trials, and design and develop prototypes and proofs-of-concept solutions that address customer needs. • Provide training for customer and partner staff. • Create and maintain metadata management methodologies and best practices • Project management and AGILE development skills Desired Skills and Experience Skills Required • 5 year minimum experience with Rochade or other metadata technology • Familiarity with Metadata Management, Data Warehousing solutions and development lifecycle. Subject Matter Expertise in best of breed database, ETL, Modeling, BI Reporting tools a definite plus. • Solid background in Java/XML/ J2EE Application Servers. • Data design experience with CWM, XMI, UML and/or ER Modeling is helpful. • Windows batch and UNIX batch/shell scripting experience. • Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience in a software company or equivalent. • Java developer background in large IT organization. • Good understanding of development methods (Procedural, OO, SOA) as well as web application components using Java, JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML/XMI, , WS related standards. • Work with manual ETL or middleware to connect applications (PLSQL, SQL, Teradata, Cobol, Java etc..) to complete complex joins. • Ability to install and administer applications on Windows, VM and UNIX servers. • Able to speak / write in English • Strong ability to listen to business needs, identify desired outcomes and craft comprehensive solutions while building credibility in relationships.
