Skills: At least 2-3 years of experience working with Planning and Essbase · Experience with advanced calculation scripting is a must · Ability to make performance optimization on scripts and DB settings · All other important features concerning Essbase/ Planning and related tools (HAL,Maxl) · should be perfectly understood - Good knowledge of Web Analysis, Report, Workspace, Smart View - Good / Strong knowledge of Excel/Visual Basic /Access and SQL (Toad) programming languages - Ability to think logically and analytically to determine cause and affect relationship - Sound process and analytical skills - Firm grounding in relational databases (ORACLE; SQL) - Knowledge of VBA/Excel - Understanding of Data Warehouse concepts from a reporting point of view - Strong knowledge of Power center (a plus) - Strong knowledge of finance and accounting (a plus) Educational background / Certifications · IT Professional with skills specified in III.2 · Bachelor of Engineering/Technology or Master of Computer Applications Degree · Certification Hyperion Essbase and Planning · Commitment and result oriented · Organized, thorough, detail-oriented · Keen to take full responsibility of the assigned job · must have very good communication skills to interact with European or American clients. · Exposure to Business Requirement gathering, problem analysis and testing process · Ability to clearly document the activities performed · Understanding processes for change and release management and following Swiss Re’s version thereof · Will need to get trained on the Swiss Re artefacts and therefore needs a good understanding of project and application documentation · Proactive attitude, ability to understand problems, describe them, discusses them with European or American clients, ask questions · Onsite experience · Candidates must be ready to work in a highly challenging environment with time pressure. · Knowledge or Exposure to finance and accounting (a plus) Thanks and Regards, Manish Patel | Next Level Business Services, Inc.
