The Solutions Requirements and Quality Assurance Analyst will actively
support the transition of the existing meetings and conferences business
operations and applications infrastructure from their legacy
database-centric model into a new SOA state.
This position is responsible for fully leading all solutions quality
assurance efforts, specifically SOA composite applications testing
(services, service components, process/orchestration, policy
enforcement, governance). This position will also support the
documentation of business requirements and implementation of the
transformation of the business and its technology infrastructure.
*SOA Solutions Quality Assurance*
- Devise and author Test Strategy documents
- Develop, manage and execute test plans
- Develop, manage and execute test cases
- Coordinate cross-functional / cross-organizational QA efforts as needed
*Solutions Requirements*
- Collect and document business, functional and non-functional requirements
- Develop Use Cases
- Translate business requirements into functional and non-functional -
requirements that traceably satisfy the business requirements
- Model process and rules using tools and methodologies 6-8 years IT
- Knowledge and working experience in with test planning, test execution
and test results analyses
- Functional, negative, regression, system integration (*SIT*),
acceptance (*UAT*), load/performance, security, browser compatibility,
and performance testing
- Exposure to or understanding of Agile Software Development Methodology
- Exposure to or understanding of composite application development
- Exposure to Business Process Analysis (*BPA*) and Business Rules
Engines (*BRE*) tools
- Exposure to Enterprise Database applications (Oracle 10g+, SQL Server
2000+, IBM Informix Dynamic Server Version 11)
- *Web 2.0, OLAP, OOP, SOA, XML, Web-services*
* - SOA testing tools (ITKO LISA, SOAP UI, ParaSoft SOATest, HP Service
Test)*
- Automated testing tools (HP Quality Center, JUnit, WinRunner, Rational
Robot, SQA Suite, Load Runner, NetScanTools)
- Bug/defect tracking system (Bugzilla or similar)
- Multiple Platform knowledge (Solaris 9/10, Red Hat Linux,and Windows
Server 2003/2007) including shell scripting
- A clear understanding of Enterprise Architecture concepts is required.
- Demonstrated track record of achievement working in a customized
software development environment required
