*Position Title: ETL Administrator (Must have ADMINISTRATION Skills) Location: St. Louis, Missouri
Duration: 12 + Months Skills Required:* - Must have 4 years of US experience - Maintain enterprise-level Java/Oracle applications using Pentaho Data Integration (Kettle 3.1) and Informatica PowerCenter ETL tools. - Minimum requirements include at least 5 years of full time experience with ETL tools and processes in a scientific or technical environment. - Strong with Informatica PowerCenter for ETL development - Strong with Informatica PowerCenter performance tuning - Strong with Informatica PowerCenter optimization - Strong with data profiling - Strong with data quality - Strong with change data capture (CDC). - Strong database query and performance tuning abilities. - Minimum 5 years experience with Oracle and 3 years experience using SQL. - Must possess advanced SQL programming skills using Oracle. - Create automated ETL regression tests as part of the development process. - Implement transformation rules, and develop ETL code between systems in conjunction with other team members. - Focus on ETL design, development, and performance tuning. - Provide level-3 production support for data warehouse jobs on a rotational basis. - Responsible for ensuring integration with the data warehouse. *Desired Skills:* - Bioinformatics experience in the medical or other life sciences industry. - Experience with database modeling and design. - Experience with Object-Oriented methodologies, and Test First Development. - Agile Programming. - Experience using Pentaho Data Integration (Kettle) Open Source tool. - Working knowledge of designing and implementing Data Marts and Operational Data store (ODS) in Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW). - Understanding of Informatica PowerCenter architecture, Informatica PowerCenter Administration and repository maintenance is a plus. - General knowledge of Business Intelligence and reporting strategies is a plus.
