* * *Job tile* *Digital Media Production Support* *Location:* New York/NY *Duration:* 6 months *Experience:* 4+ years Description The Digital Media Production Support Technical Coordinator (“Tech Coordinator”) is responsible for coordinating technical/development activities and implementing custom development solutions related to Tier II production support issues for Digital Asset Management system. The Tech Coordinator will be the primary point of contact for all technical/development needs in support of the production environment and will be responsible for coordinating the development effort with the Digital Media Group development team. This is not a purely development role but will require some development activities and generation of SQL queries as needed. • J2EE 1.5 Editing and debugging JSPs Servlet development Working with EJBs a plus Design patterns such as MVC JavaScript experience a plus JBoss experience a plus SQL Query syntax and ability to write SQL queries Basic understanding of triggers Some experience with Oracle a plus •Adobe Flex development •Expertise in building and utilizing Web services •Integrating 3rd party tools (ie Search engine) •Familiarity with design and creation of database objects such as tables and views •The ability to adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) procedures. •At least two years' experience with the following programming languages and technologies: Java/J2EE, JSP, Flex, AS3, XML, SQL, HTML/DHTML and Web Services. •Experience with Oracle, Solaris, and Linux. •Experience in software development for digital asset management systems a plus. Additional Skills: Understanding of database concepts Knowledge of PL/SQL Knowledge of triggers and procedures in Oracle 10g An understanding of cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility issues. Demonstrable ability to handle multiple requests efficiently.
