The Agile Application Architecture (A3) development team at Clientis 
seeking a self-motivated, highly-productive, team-player, and 8-10 years 
experienced J2EE developer to join the A3 web FrontPlane (presentation 
layer) development layer of A3 web applications.



You will be part of the Agile Application Architecture (A3) development 
team. A3 team is responsible for the development of enterprise J2EE 
applications and business services that provide business solutions for 
Client business.
 Your role is the development of Web applications presentation layer 
(GUI) using J2EE presentation layer components and frameworks. A3 web 
applications are built using Oracle Portal and Oracle J2EE applications 
technology. We are currently migrating to Oracle WebLogic Server 11g.

2. Roles and Responsibilities*
*FrontPlane Senior Developer    ·

Technical resource who will be the role of a subject matter expert on 
J2EE presentation tier development.·
Implement UseCase presentation views as either browser rich clients or 
thin clients.·
Document presentation tier (GUI) patterns, best practices, and coding 
standards.


Skills*

*Applicant must have at least 8 years experience developing for the J2EE 
platform, candidates with 10+ years of experience are preferred.

OS *
Development on Windows XP, Sun Solaris/Unix (optional)
Architectures

 Sun J2EE Web Development, JSP/Struts, Portal/Portlet development 
(Oracle Portal is preferred but not necessary).
Languages     Java, Struts, JSF, JavaScript, XSL, CSS, HTML, AJAX, XML, 
and Portelets. Additional experience in using the following technologies 
is preferred but not required: EJB 3.0, Hibernate, Spring, and XQuery.

SOA      Web Services, Axis, SOAP, WSDL .
Messaging     JMS, MQ Series, Message Bus (Enterprise Service Bus)
Databases     Oracle9i, PLSQL, SQL, MS Access, MS SQL Server2000, DB2

Enterprise Application Programming   JSP/Servlet/EJB, Taglibs, Struts, 
hibernate, Ant, Log4j ,JUnit, JMS,  JAAS,  XML, XSL, XQuery.

Web front-end Programming   JavaScript , HTML, XML, XSL, XQuery

Servers     (preferred) Oracle Application Server 10x, Oracle Portal 
Server 10x. (Optional) Any Commercial J2EE application server.

Development Tools     Oracle JDeveloper (preferred), Eclipse 3x.

Testing Tools     Test Driven development using tools such as HTTPUnit, 
JUnit, etc.

Methodology     RUP, any SDLC based approach.
Quality Assurance     Rational ClearQuest for defect tracking

Design and ModelingHighly Recommended Skills    Familiar of using UML in 
analysis and design. Have used one or more of the following modeling 
tools: TogetherJ, Rational Rose, RSA, Visio, or MagicDrawStrong 
understanding of Oracle WebCenter Portal architectureDesign & 
Implementation experience with Oracle WebCenter, Weblogic, ADF,Strong 
understanding of the Performance considerations & best practices for 
Portal implementationAbility to perform in an advisory capacity on 
performance aspects and sign off on the performance and hardware sizing 
requirements.
