Position Title: *Web Developer*
Project/Role or BD Task Description and Special Notes. . .
Client is upgrading its intranet web hosting platform from IIS6 to
IIS7.5. A number of web sites and web applications in Classic ASP will
need remediation to ASP.NET. Access databases will be converted to SQL
Server databases. This project will define guidelines for ASP.NET, .NET
Framework 4.0 and develop guidance on remediation to run the sites on
IIS 7.5, SQL Server 2008. The project team will also support business
partners in executing the migration process.
We need Sr Consultants/Consultants to augment the project team.
*Skills Required:*
. Sr. Consultant with focus on Web Development using ASP.NET
. ASP.NET 4.0 & Classic ASP (nice to have)
. Classic ASP to ASP.NET migration experience would be good
. Familiarity with IIS 7.0
. Ability to analyze code and work with business stakeholders
