*Database Architect / DBA - MySQL, Oracle*
You will be responsible for all the databases (MySQL & Oracle). You will
work with the development architects to ensure that the database is
designed for optimum performance, scalability & high availability. You
will assist the production team in monitoring the database for
availability and performance.
*Responsibilities:*
·Take ownership of MySQL and Oracle databases
·Lead the Database Design and Schema design efforts
·Tune the databases for optimal performance and scalability
·Develop methods / scripts for monitoring database capacity, usage &
performance
·Help in Stored Procedures, Query optimizations and other database functions
·Architect the databases for high reliability
*Requirements*:
·BS / MS with at least 7 years relevant experience
·Expert level experience with database design and development in
webservice based environment
·Deep Experience with MySQL & Oracle, including RAC
·Demonstrated experience in Data modeling, DB scripts, optimization and
tuning
·Strong analytical and problem solving skills
·Good communication & interpersonal skills
·Experience in Agile development methods
*Pluses*:
·Experience with high availability, clustering, replication, disaster
recovery
·Experience in using and deploying database in large consumer websites
·Experience with data warehousing
·Experience with BI and ETL tools
·Oracle & other relevant Certifications
