Need EAD/GC, GC or Citizen Only *Title- UNIX System Administrator* *Locations- Cleveland, OH* *Star date: ASAP* *Hourly rate - TBD* *The Unix System Administrator will provide technical expertise and system administration in an AIX environment. AIX 5L and P5 virtualization is a plus but not required. Performance and tuning skills desired. The Websphere knowledge or administration also a plus. Install, maintain and provide 24x7 support for Unix infrastructure and 3rd party products. Provide technical leadership on new Unix technologies, evaluate and implement new feature/function to improve overall Unix and application performance, provide input and reporting for Unix performance and monitoring, perform Unix problem analysis, root cause analysis, corrective actions and maintenance patches, and participate as a team member in identifying and implementing solutions to problems. Additional responsibilities include providing management recommendations on new technology and product directions to ensure the Unix technology features and functions are being exploited to their fullest extent.
