*Position: Project Manager with VSAM Exp* *Location: Herndon, VA or Eagan, MN* *Duration: 8 months*+ *Required Skills:* • 6+ years managing medium-to-complex projects. • Working knowledge of COBOL and VSAM (virtual storage access method_database structures) • *Experience with the following:* o Managed project financials including business impact; meets or exceeds approved budgets; provides reliable financial forecasts to USPS leadership. o Managed stakeholder relationships and services as SPOC for HPES interactions with USPS client o Managed project team, internal as well as external resources/partners within US Public Sector and potentially other BU’s; ability to manage “tower leads”, as needed, for key HPES solutions. • Minimum B.S./B.A. degree in computer science, business, or related discipline • Ability to understand client’s business challenges in context of the Postal delivery environment and leverage HPES resources and capabilities to add value (e.g, thought leadership, new business, etc.) *Preferred Skills:* • Working knowledge of Agile development processes and benefits. Additional Provisions: • Pass both a client mandated clearance process to include drug screening, criminal history check and credit check. • Once candidate’s resume is approved and interview passed, the agency is responsible for providing drug screening. Failure to submit the drug screening results will delay the security clearance process. • If a candidate is given an interim clearance, continuation of employment is then based on the candidate receiving a sensitive clearance. • All candidates must be a US Citizen, have permanent residence status, or an H1-B Visa. • Cannot have more than 6 month’s cumulative travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded.
