*Job Title : Business Objects DeveloperLocation : Hopkins, MN(Need Local)Duration : 6+Months ContractFace to Face InterviewPrincipal Responsibilities:* Design and Development Work with businesses, process owners, and teammates to understand and drive solutions which solve business problems. This may include gathering requirements, prototyping potential solutions, or modifying existing work to meet new or changing needs through the use of development standards, processes, and tools available to the team. Enabling ad-hoc/self-service BI solutions through various solutions Build or modify appropriate documentation as defined by team standards. This will include assuring that the solution is supportable and the knowledge is transferred to the support team *Development Testing and Quality* Ensure development and architecture standards are met Assure quality & consistency across all project work products / phases. Ensure technical designs accurately represent the functional designs. Provide necessary technical support through all phases of testing and incident handling after deployment Other Provide subject matter input for operational and technical documentation as well as expertise for cross-team integration of development work Continuous improvement efforts to support both in-team and cross-team efforts, actions, and deliverables Occasionally take on varying technical leadership roles within the team, including project leadership, design leadership, and mentoring Miscellaneous Duties as assigned. *Required:* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in analysis, technical design and development. 3+ years of experience with both Waterfall and Agile development processes 2+ years of experience working in a project environment 2+ years of experience deploying solutions through formal change control processes Business fluency in English Strong strategic thinking, prioritization, and problem solving skills in ambiguous and changing environments An ability to work with business and process owners to translate their requests and problems into a technical model or solution Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proven skills demonstrating a high level of customer service in providing accurate information and presentation of analysis and proposed solutions Data analysis and visualization Ability to work well in cross-functional teams and foster team commitment to tasks Understanding of using structured data, dimensional models or cubes and various forms of ETL for reporting 3+ years developing in at least 2 of the following SAP Business Objects technologies: BEX, Webi, and Dashboards 3+ years of BI modeling in SAP BW Experience in Dimensional and Entity-Relational data modeling and OLAP *Preferred:* Experience developing on SAP HANA Experience working with organizing Big Data in a presentable fashion for analytics or reporting purposes Skills building tables/views or data warehousing on Oracle or MS SQL Server environments Skills and/or experience developing database programming on Oracle or MS SQL Server *Regards,Kanahiya JaiswalProfessional RecruiterSeven Hills Software Technologies IncCarnegie Office Park, Building Six800 N.
