We have an urgent requirement as follows: *Role: Senior Data Scientist* *Job Location: New York, NY* *Duration: Long Term* *Exp: 10+ Years* *Job Description: * 1. Candidate should have a computer science and a mathematical degree , preferably financial engineering, quantitative analytics with strong focus on statistical data science 2. Candidate should have implemented data science algorithms in big data space preferably in the financial industries 3. The candidate should be aware of Bayesian statistics, Machine learning, classification algorithms , regularization algorithms, dimensionality reduction algos, cluster analysis, constraint programming , cluster analysis, recommendation engines. It is not expected that that candidate would have worked on all the algorithms but should have worked on a couple professionally but have academic experiences on a large set of these. 4. Preferably that candidate should have worked in the investment banking business and worked with strategists and trading heads of any of the businesses.
