*Position: Systems Engineer – Automation/Configuration* *Location: Atlanta, GA* *Duration: Long term contract* *What the Client wants: * Chef cookbooks Scripting – Shell, Ruby (not opposed to Python but most everything is working in Ruby and shell) Linux Systems Engineer Project – System passing framework – automating all their system patching, so writing cookbooks framework and scripting to integrate everything together Fundamental understanding of Linux and the system itself b/c a lot of the stuff they’re writing code for is for the system, so they would have a tough time understanding it w/o knowing linux. *Additional Info* *Need someone who can write Chef cookbooks and do heavy scripting, and knows how to do configuration and automation. Must know how to write Chef cookbooks* *Look for a Linux guru who can do heavy scripting, and knows how to do configuration and automation. * The Intersect Group is actively searching for a Linux Engineer that is experienced with a variety of systems including VMware, RedHat Enterprise Linux, Microsoft Server Infrastructure roles (Active Directory, DNS, and PKI), and Microsoft Internet Information Server. This role is highly technical and hands on.
