*Position*: Network Architect *Client: Mercedes Benz* Start: Immediate Duration: 3 years Location: Tuscaloosa, Alabama Interview: Skype or phone *Purpose of Position:* This position will assist the infrastructure project manager with the technical planning, coordination design and implementation of active network hardware and ensure that all relevant Daimler standards are in place for new solutions. In addition this position must ensure high availability in order to support MBUSI Production Systems and Administration computing operations. The position will provide project assistance for new buildings and infrastructure implementations, shop floor automation, LAN and WLAN installations and other technologies as required. The candidate should also support Request Management, Change Management and Problem Management processes. The position requires coordination of external services. This position will evaluate proposals in order to identify potential problem areas, and make the appropriate recommendations as well as write RFQs including scope of work documents if necessary. This position will perform other related duties as required. *Qualifications *Education: Bachelor´s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering: or equivalent combination of education and experience.
