*Marketing Analyst - Reporting & Analytics -  B35 Programmer Analyst *



*Description*

The Reporting and Analytics (R&A) team within the Marketing organization is
responsible for creating and maintaining data repositories, reporting
solutions, and marketing capabilities to enable the newly formed business
to drive effective strategies, make fact based decisions, execute
flawlessly, and track business outcomes.  The Programmer Analyst position
on the Reporting and Analytics team will be part of a variety of high
priority initiatives to create, enhance, operate, and maintain these
capabilities.



*Key Responsibilities Include: *

·         Support data acquisition, cleansing, loading, extraction, and
transformation using both RDBMS and Big Data.

·         Become a subject matter expert with regards to the business value
of the data, data structures, and efficient access methods.

·         Automate delivery and ensure flawless and timely execution for
all daily, weekly, and monthly processes.

·         Own support, trouble shooting, and issue resolution to ensure
high availability of the data flowing into and out of the environment.

·         Drive effective data quality checks and proactively identify and
correct any data issues.

·         Create all documentation artifacts needed for the systems.

·         Maintain open lines of communication with leadership, partners,
and stake holders in order to continuously evolve and improve the system.



*Technical Qualifications:*



A Bachelor’s Degree (or above) in computer science or related technical or
quantitative field,  with  a minimum  5 years professional experience,  and
at least 2 of the following relevant technical skills sets:

·         2+ years’ experience working with a major RDBMS platform (Oracle
preferred), and multi-terabyte data volumes

·         2+ years’ experience with SQL development and tuning,  including
stored procedures and packages

·         2+ years’ experience creating data architecture, data modeling,
star & snowflake schemas

·         2+ years’ experience with SAS 9.x,  including data step
programming and complex macro development.  Experience in a SAS-grid
environment or LSF a plus.

·         1+ years’ experience with Big Data tools (Pig, Hive, Hbase, etc.)

·         1+ years’ experience with one or more major Business Intelligence
Tools  (MicroStrategy preferred)

·         2+ years’ experience with Unix/Linux shell scripts and tools such
as sed, awk, cron, sftp,  etc.

·         1+ years’ experience in Java, C++, or Python.

*Required Soft Skills: *

·         Proven ability to translate business specifications into
technical requirements.

·         Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight
timelines.

·         Highly customer-focused and results-oriented with proven ability
to innovate.

·         Detail oriented with strong conceptual, analytical and problem
solving skills.

·         Solid communication skills with an ability to convey results,
explain issues, drive resolution and develop requirements.

·         Must be a self-starter and drive key processes, while working
well in a team environment as a key contributor.
