*Role Summary:*
This Test Engineer is responsible for test preparation and execution
activities in collaboration with the SAP Team Leads and designated testers
for one or more testing activities or projects.
- Key Duties and Responsibilities •
- Develop and implement the Test Strategy and Test Plans
- Ability to determine Testing LOE to prepare for upcoming testing
efforts
- Review and monitor the Requirements Tracking Matrix for traceability
- Coordinate and manage test preparation activities –
- Review and verify testing template is complete and upload to HP-ALM
- Oversee test scenario identification in collaboration with SAP
Functional Lead,
- Oversee design and development of test cases in collaboration with
SAP Functional Leads and testers
Coordinate and manage test execution activities –
- Release management in HP-ALM
- Assign test cycles to test scenarios in HP-ALM
- Extract test results from HP-ALM for daily status reports
- Plan test scheduling in accordance with the overall Project Plan,
- Oversee test case execution and daily status reporting
- Manage defect logging and tracking
- Oversee UAT efforts
- Train users in HP ALM
- Train users in testing strategy and methodology
- Coordinate development of Regression Testing requirements
- Determine use of existing test collateral in HP-ALM
- Determine new test development
Monitor testing activities
- Test preparation and execution
- Take corrective actions as needed
- Work closely with Test Manager and Integration/Project Manager for
the success of testing
- Provides direction and support for testers
- Identification and escalation of issues and risks to Test Manager,
Project Manager and Program Manager and to project team
- Qualifications
- Minimum 4-year’ experience with *QA* Test Lead responsibilities for
ERP projects
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Must be organized and detailed oriented with the ability to work
independently
Must have expertise in HP-QC preferably HP-ALM version
