Philly, PA Phone/Skype; Locals preferred 6 Months *Additional Info about the role* *DevOps Skills & Experience:* Developing Applications, supporting middleware development for the application stack Software Dev in Telecommunications Opensource Development CICD Environments Microservices Technical Skills: Java, Ansible, Docker, Cloud Foundry, No SQL, Cassandra, Jenkins Frontend Development: NodeJS, ReactJS, AngularJS, Scala, AWS, Puppet, Akka, Finatra, Gatling, Finagle, SBT, Finch Notes from call: • Java type developer with exp working in devops environments, Java, Docker, CloudFoundry, NoSQL, operations-type tools like Jenkins • Must have – midlevel Java type development • More geared towards development side than Ops but needs exp with QA/Ops side too • How important is Java – Java, Ansible, Docker, whatever is listed in technical skills • Front-end are nice to have – Angular Projects the team is working on? • More middleware services building out on platform called Mercury • API middleware layer for front-end consumers *Description* Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to deploy the release of new technologies as well as design, install, configure, maintain and perform system integration testing of PC/ server operating systems, related utilities and hardware. You will develop applications, supporting middleware development for the application stack. *Key Accountabilities:* - Responsible for troubleshooting server problems as reported by users. - Researches, evaluates and recommends software and hardware products. - Supports Web access and electronic messaging services and maintains a secure systems environment. - Provides new hardware specifications to users based on application needs and anticipated growth, installs new servers and maintains the server infrastructure. - Creates an API middleware layer for front-end customers, and builds out middleware services on Mercury platform. *Required Skills:* - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field; or, equivalent work experience. - 5+ years of experience working in DevOps environments with front-end and middleware development. - Possesses a high level of expertise in multiple system environments. - Previous telecommunications experience is highly valued. - Proficiency with the following technical skills: Java; Ansible; Docker; Cloud Foundry; NoSQL; Cassandra; and, Jenkins. - Expertise with front-end development skills: NodeJS; ReactJS; AngularJS; Scala; AWS; Puppet; Akka; Finatra; Gatling; Finagle; SBT; and, Finch. - Understanding of relevant software development tools including version control, build processes, debuggers and test frameworks. - Ability to work independently with limited supervision. *Randhir Kumar* *IDC Technologies, Inc Mailto: **randhir.ku...@idctechnologies.com* <randhir.ku...@idctechnologies.com> * _____________________________________* *Empowering Technologies Services* *Remote Services | IT Services | BPO | * *IT Consulting | Staffing Solutions |* *_____________________________________* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "IT RECURITER" group.
