*Job Role: Database Consultant Location: Rocky Hill, CT (Only Locals F2F is Required)Duration: 6+Months * *Must be a Citizen or Green Card ! * Responsible For: Strong skills in SQL Development - ability to write and troubleshoot SQL Code and design (SSIS packages, stored procs, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints ) Has 5+ years of experience in database development and support in MS SQL Server environments. Strong experience in Database Administration in SQL Server ( 2012 and up ) Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc. Experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools. Ability to detect and troubleshoot SQL Server related CPU,memory,I/O, disk space and other resource contention. Knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, database shrink operations, DBCC commands, Clustering, Database mirroring, Replication. Experience in implementing operational automation. Red Gate is a plus Knowledge of index management, integrity checks, configuration, patching, statistics Knowledge of common SQL Server tools Developing, testing, and debugging application source code per specifications Manipulating application test/production data as required by the product specialists Creating and assembling all components associated with product distributions Tools: Microsoft Visual Studio, MS SQL 2012 and higher Must have: 5 yrs MSSQL 3 yrs advanced MSSQL 2 yrs C# 2 yrs Application Development 1 yrs XML?
