*Job Details:* *Sr. Network Engineer* *Englewood, CO* *3 months CTH* *Visa: GC or USC or GC-EAD* The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for maintaining network devices within the corporate infrastructure. The incumbent in this position will assist in supporting network monitoring and maintaining service levels by providing customers second level support. The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for providing capacity planning information, managing network security and supporting the day-to-day activities of the corporate network. The Senior Network Engineer will provide technical leadership and mentoring of other Network Engineers. This position will work closely and cooperatively with the other Network Engineers in their duties. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * • Performs network administration duties such as WAN/LAN configuration, wiring and installation, network applications, and external communication. • Manage Cisco network equipment. • Responsible for Palo Alto, Riverbed, Aruba, and A10 network equipment. • Will handle Cisco VOIP equipment including Call Manager, Cisco Unity, Voice Gateway, Attendant Console. • Responsible for Capacity planning and network architecture. • Creates and maintains documentation of network infrastructure and oversee assets. • Responsible for Network and infrastructure security and Network management. • Researches and provides guidance for long-term planning and network improvements. • Monitors network resources, utilization, and provides trend analysis using tools like Logic Monitor, Infinistream, Cacti, and StealthWatch. • Develops strong inter-department working relationships. • Develops procedures and policies for operation. Occasional weekend work required. *Required Experience * • Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Minimum 5 years of network experience; Experience in TCP/IP networks, network security and client/server computing environments; Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills, and demonstrated collaborative work; and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Strong judgment and problem analysis techniques. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects. • Strong organizational skills and proficient in establishing priorities. • Experience with broadcast, media, and entertainment; Working with large media files and automated workflows. • CCIE certification is a plus. • SAN and Windows Server experience helpful. *Skills* *Your Experience* *Rating(0-5)* 5 years of network experience Experience in TCP/IP networks, network security and client/server computing environments Analytical and strategic thinking skills, and demonstrated collaborative work Strong judgment and problem analysis techniques Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects Experience with broadcast, media, and entertainment; Working with large media files and automated workflows CCIE certification is a plus SAN and Windows Server experience helpful.
