*Eagan, Minnesota*
*Long Term Contract*
Deploy and Manage servers/VMs
Deploy and Manage applications including Cassandra, Elastic Search,
Kafka, Varnish Cache, Hadoop
Write Ansible playbooks.
Write bash scripts
Possibly write machine learning based apps in Scala/Python and Spark
Streaming
Problem solve a very high volume system
What software tools/skills are needed to perform these daily
responsibilities?
Linux, Bash Scripting, SSH, git, Ansible, Mac OS/OS X,
What skills/attributes are a must have?
High level of ability to write either Ruby or Python or Scala
High level of ability to write Bash scripts
High level of ability to write Ansible playbooks
Great at debugging issues in network, hardware, VM, Linux and Software
What skills/attributes are nice to have?
Experience with Kafka, Elastic Search, Cassandra, Varnish Cache, NGinx,
Squid, F5 Big IP
High level of ability to write JavaScript clientside
High level of ability to write JavaScript serverside
NodeJS
MEAN Stack
Ruby on Rails
Writing APIs in Ruby or Python
Writing Microservices experience
Open Shift Experience
Docker Experience
AWS Experience
