Job Title: PRINC NETWORK ENGINEER - Telephony
Location: 225 Borthwick Ave, Portsmouth, NH
Targeted Start Date: 9/8/08
Length of Assignment: 3-6 Months
Additional Notes: Please do not send a candidate that doesn't have most of
the neccesary skills bolded out. Must have 8 years experience minimum.
PROJECT/POSITION DESCRIPTION: (for external use)
Contractor will be completing office relocation requests. Establishes
hosting design information requirements using analysis of functional and non
functional requirements generated by the application design group.
Using the design analysis, designs hosting solution to include the software,
hardware, communications and monitoring to support the total application
requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional
requirements and interfaces. Ensures these systems are compatible and in
compliance with hosting standards and details solutions
that fail outside these standards. Evaluates design analytically and
systematically so that the solution will be able to be implemented according
to hosting work flows, organizational constructs and planning management.
Ensures capacity exists in the hosting realm to house this design and
details capacity actions when capacity does not exist.
Skill Description:
Knowledge of networks and network infrastructures. Firewall, security and
remote access, performance and monitoring products and strategies. CISCO
infrastructure, Juniper, INFOBLOX, IPSEC and SSL VPN. Solid written and
verbal communications skills.
Knowledge of voice and virtual networks and products, deployment and
support strategies. QA, survey and record on demand strategies. Avaya,
CISCO, AT&T, NICE products.
REQUIRED SKILLS: (for external use) REQUIRED EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
(BASIC, INTERMEDIATE, SENIOR, EXPERT) YEARS of EXPERIENCE:
Skill Detail - Avaya ACM (Avaya Call Manager) administration; working
knowledge of Avaya VoIP systems. Working knowledge of the following
technologies; voice messaging, Call Management Systems, Digital Voice
Recording and VoIP networks. Experience with premise wire cabling systems,
Cisco switches and routers, Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Call Manager Express
a plus. Knowledge of IP Telephony, MPLS, advanced toll-free and LEC network
offerings also a plus. Senior
Knowledge of networks and network Infrastructures including routing and
switching. Senior
Basic knowledge of MPLS networks, BGP, EIGRP, VoIP, PoE, Cisco Catalyst
