Expert in data models and an understanding of relational databases.
*Experience with TIBCO middleware technologies (Business Works 5x, Business
Connect 5x, EMS 5x, EDI, ADB, Workflow 5x, Admin, HAWK and additional
adapters) *
* *
*Business Connect 5.x with EDI-X12 experience at least 2 yr min. but may
accept 1 yr if person is well versed (Transactions highly preferred, 850,
855, 856, 810). *
*Top 3 skills: *
*1. BC/EDI-X12 *
a. Minimum of 3 yrs with BC (Business Connect) and EDI-X12
b. Configuration of trading partners and other setups in BC
c. Development in BW for EDI-X12 transactions (and connection to BC)
d. EDI-X12 experience mainly in following transactions 850, 810,
855, 856
*2. Workflow/BWC/Form builder *
a. Minimum of 1 yrs (understand these for debugging and production
issues)
b. Basic knowledge of architecture and components
c. Relationship of these components to each other
d. Basic development of BWC and navigation
e. Basic development in BW using workflow palettes
f. We will not have any development work in this area but able to
pick up and work on production issues. So some knowledge of it will be good,
if they have Proof of Concept (POC) is also fine but main thing is
understanding the architecture of it.
*3. BW and ADB adapter *
a. Development in BW
b. Configuration of ADB adapter
c. Most of the palettes uses such as SOAP, TCP, services, JDBC
Other components are important in performing these activities:
a. EMS configuration - adding/deleting topics & queues, users,
durable subscribers
b. Creating rulebases using Hawk
c. Perl Scripts and Unix scripts
d. Administrator - navigation, deployment, management
e. RV
