*This is David with Sancrosoftusa* * * *Title : CCNA engineer* *Location : **Downtown Sacramento,CA* *Duration :4 Months* *DEFINITION OF SERVICES * *The Contractor must provide the following services:* · Provide 7x24 technical support for the network infrastructure b. Monitor the network for performance degradation and security and vulnerability breaches c. Respond to network infrastructure alerts and anomalies d. Communicate with staff and the management team on issues, action plans, and status changes. e. Act as a technical advisor to management on complex technical issues and provide timely status to management and the team on a regular basis f. Provide written and oral reports and presentations as required g. Attend meetings as required h. Perform other tasks, including unanticipated tasks, as assigned by the VCGCB i. Conduct knowledge transfer to VCGCB staff related to assigned work *The Contractor must provide an experienced individual that meet(s) all the minimum qualifications below:* · Minimum of two (2) years experience setting up virtual private networks. b. Minimum of three (3) years experience installing and maintaining Cisco and HP ProCurve switches and routers. c. Minimum of three (3) years experience configuring and updating F5 technologies. d. Minimum of five (5) years experience maintaining, configuring firewalls and updating firewall rules. e. Minimum of three (3) years experience updating firmware and software on network servers, switches, and routers. f. Patch management experience with routers and switches. g. Minimum of two (2) years experience supporting storage area networks. h. Demonstrated ability to communicate both written and verbally is required. i. Cisco Certified Network Association certification is required. *In addition to the minimum qualifications noted above, the Contractors staff must meet the following performance expectations*: · Arrive to work on time and be fully accountable for working an eight-hour day. Normal work hours are 8:00am -5:00pm PST, Monday through Friday except for mandated furlough days. b. Come to meetings fully prepared, including pen and paper, and handouts for distribution when appropriate. c. Effectively plan, organize and prioritize work. d. Report to management on incidents, problems and causes in a timely manner. e. Make optimal use of time and resources. f. Manage multiple and/or changing priorities in a heavy workload situation. g. Follow through and ensure that deadlines are met. h. Establish and maintain the confidence and cooperation of others contacted during the course of work. i. Analyze data, draw sound conclusions and present ideas and information effectively both orally and in writing. j. Use tact and good judgment interacting professionally with all levels of management, staff and the public. k. Occasionally may be required to work overtime on evenings, weekends or holidays. l. Keep the VCGCB Contract Manager informed of important issues, problems and events. m.
