This Business Analyst position is for an SAP project which modifies the way
SAP routes cases, calls, notifications and rolls up/filters reporting. The
successful candidate will be responsible for reading and understanding the
BRD and Functional Specification for the project and, with guidance from the
existing Business Analysts, creating test cases in the HP Quality Center
Tool. The analyst will also be responsible for performing User Acceptance
Testing and coordinating further User Acceptance Testing with appropriate
end user community Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). UAT will be done in SAP
and on the NetApp Support Site. This person will also be responsible for
managing defect management, along with QA, and retesting fixed defects.
This person may also be responsible, or partially responsible for assisting
in the creation and delivery of release notes and training materials
associated with this project.
*Essential Functions:*
With a moderate level direction from existing Business Analysts, the
successful candidate will:
- Understand the scope of the Account Segmentation Project as it affects
SAP business processes and processes on the NetApp Support Site
· Participate in project core team and other project related
meetings. Follow up on action items.
- Proactively reach out to knowledgeable resources to get questions or
concerns addressed
- Interact with the IT organization Business Systems Analysts and QA
folks to understand any aspects of the project that they would need to make
clear, track issues found in UAT (through HPQC), possibly help troubleshoot
issues found in UAT, ensure that the appropriate scenarios are being covered
with test cases
- Create the test cases for the test scenarios and enter them into HPQC
- Perform/facilitate User Acceptance Testing
- Under the guidance of the existing Business Analysts and Project
Manager, communicate as needed with end users about this project:
- Project status
- Training
- Release Notes
- Communication messages (with the Project PM)
*Job Requirements:*
· Excellent oral and written communication skills, including
documentation · Very good analytic skills; prior experience
performing business analysis and testing · Experience with SAP CRM,
especially Interaction Center · Detail oriented and strong
organizational skills · Very good negotiation skills · Creative
problem solver · Familiar with Software Development practices and QA
methods · Experienced working with remote teams (e.g. Offshore
Development/QA, remote users, remote co-workers) · Ability to work
collaboratively and work with a team of other business analysts and cross
functional peers to meet deadlines
