Informatica developer Location :Florida Duration : 6 months * * *Required skills set :* Callidus, TrueComp Application Development, Informatica, Oracle, PL/SQL This is an application developer position for the incentive compensation application management team. Responsibilities include: • Serve as the compensation developer for the incentive compensation application • Serve as an interface developer for the incentive compensation application • Work with the application team to assist in meeting corporate objectives through enablement and enhancements of the incentive compensation system’s inbound and outbound interfaces • Assist in formulating the interface solution design of the incentive compensation application • Work with business analyst to assist in meeting BCBSF corporate objectives through enablement and enhancement of rules and compensation plans for the incentive compensation system • Assist in formulating the compensation rules and plans of the incentive compensation application • Analyze business requests and how they impact systems compensation rules and plans • Working on problems of complex scope where the analysis of situations or data requires the review of a variety of factors • Formulating plan rule, adjustment needs and recommendations based on service levels and best practices • Formulating interface needs and recommendations based on service levels and best practices Work Activities Include: Systems Operation • Ensure monthly processing, payment, and delivery to payees • Ensure correct processing of all compensation rules and plans • Assist in handling requests and end-user support generated from the incentive compensation system as they apply to plan rules within TrueComp • Periodically assess effectiveness of the incentive compensation system’s plans and rules through reporting to team lead as appropriate Broke/Fix Management • Analyze identified compensation requests through validating functional/technical impacts and effort • Assist in estimation of work efforts of broke/fix items pertaining to compensation rules • Work with team members to define solutions for broke/fix requests Minor Enhancements • Develop conceptual and technical solution designs • Build and unit test defined plans and rules within the compensation system • Assist in the estimation of work efforts for rule enhancements Must- Have Skills/ Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or equivalent • 3+ years of application development experience • Experience in the software delivery lifecycle • Skilled in Microsoft Office • Skilled in Oracle, PL/SQL, and stored procedure development • Skilled in Unix (AIX) and shell scripting • One to two years of interface development with Informatica Experience with Callidus/TrueComp or similar application preferred Nice-To-Have Skills/ Qualifications: • Experience and/ or training in the Rational Suite of products • Experience in the Health Insurance Industry -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "it req" group.
