We have not yet got the kind of candidate that we are looking for. 1) Strong Oracle database and PL/SQL development experience - at least 8 years 2) Good experience working on financial systems - at least 5 years ( we are not looking for Oracle Financials) 3) PowerBuilder development experience - at least 5 years *Job Description:** *Sapphire Technologies is looking for a PL/SQL Developer with at least 8 years of extensive programming experience with large Oracle databases, designing schemas, creating and modifying PL/SQL procedures and packages. The person should have extensive programming/analyst knowledge of financial systems including fund distribution, payments, collections and fiscal reconciliation. The person should be able to recognize/research errors and problems and recommend/execute appropriate corrective action. The person will be working with the Court's criminal case management system and will be required to gain an in-depth understanding of the business rules and program code associated with the financial transactions/events in the system. *Duties include, but are not limited to*: - 1) Analyzing the existing business rules and associated program code. - 2) Documenting the financial process flow and business logic. - 3) Working with the fiscal department to research current problems with data and programs. - 4) Modifying existing programs and creating new programs to meet the needs of the fiscal department of the court as approved.
