*Project Manager * *Location :Jacksonville, FL* *Duration :6 Months * *Responsibilities:* Escalating Reporting Communicating Integration (ensuring various elements of the project are properly coordinated) Boundary Management (working relationships within and outside team to accomplish goals) Scope Management (aligning project tasks and team accountabilities within the boundaries of the agreed to scope document). Tracks events, tasks, dependencies, etc. in the project plan. Identifies tasks that are ahead / on / behind schedule. Identifies discrepancies in budgeted versus actual costs. Identifies items / issues that jeopardize the cost, quality or timeliness of project deliverables. *Job Requirements:* · Bachelor’s degree in a related area or equivalent work experience is required. · PMI certification is required. · 10+ years project management required,with at least 5 years for IT projects. · 5-10 years of broad applied project management experience in managing technology projects and/or technical staff. · Experience working projects within the Health Care industry is preferred · Demonstrated experience writing/creating scope documents and determining project cost. · Demonstrated experience communicating project status and advising project team, customers, and staff on tactical solutions to dealing with barriers (problem solving)within a project · 3-5 years recent experience with MS Project · Extensive PC skills (MS Office) · Experience with RUP and SDLC methodologies · 5-10 years of strong experience in Project Management, 0-1 years ago · 2-5 years of strong Experience with MS Project and Implementation, 0-1 years ago · Local candidate is preferred due to position being required to support weekend work for Release implementation job requirements. *Skills:* Implementation or System Release Management experience: This position will also specifically be required to plan, support and execute Monthly System Release Implementation activities for the Service, Delivery, Compliance Portfolio which occur sometimes out of cycle weekly, and will require some weekend and shift work at least once per month.
