Responsible for data analysis and management reporting. Creates/designs and
runs database reports using PC platforms or report writing tools
based on end-user needs. Incorporates end user requests and requirements to
develop an enterprise reporting solution. Utilizes software to
generate metrics and develops actionable recommendations. Provides support
to research team or management by collecting, analyzing data and
reporting results. Collaborates with various function teams such as
marketing, research, IT to achieve business results.
Must have working knowledge of SQL programming and be proficient in data
extraction and reporting techniques. May train end-users on report
writing.
WORK EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES
2 or more years of IT work experience in DBMS support and/or analysis,
software application development, or report writing using
appropriate tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, Crystal Reports, etc.).
EDUCATION GUIDELINES
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related
discipline. Or equivalent work experience.
BREADTH
Intermediate professional level role. Designs and supports reports of medium
to high complexity performed within a broad technical and business
context. Works on one or more projects as a project team member or sometimes
as a project leader. May coach more junior technical staff.
