Location: Cupertino, CA Rate: $45/hr Teradata Performance Tuning Expert : Teradata 12 experience is a must. - Good teradata Architecture knowledge. - Hands on experience on performance tuning of complexSQLs on large Teradata databases. - In depth knowledge of Teradata utilities such as Multiload, Fastexport, BTEQ, Fastload, Teradata Parallel Transporter. - Good SQL proficiency and experience. - Security administration using roles and profiles mechanism, Create user, Grant permission, role and privileges. - Should be able to Contact Teradata Support to resolve issues like performance and product support. Following up with vendor on the Teradata Hardware Alerts. - Setup and follow-up of various database alerts. - Create User Database, Create Tables/views, Procedure/and macros. - Troubleshooting database related issues. - Performance monitoring. - Experience using Teradata Viewpoint portal and TASM is a plus - Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned - Certification in Teradata and Teradata SQL preferred. - Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work with the client Thanks & Regards......?
