Location: Minneapolis,MN Rate: Market Rate Skills . Extensive experience with entire life-cycle development of web platform using Websphere portal and other CMS . Proficiency in architecting and designing a solution using Websphere portal product suite and review the detailed designs . More than 10+ Websphere portal end to end implementations . Experience in auditing ECM implementations against the various implementation best practices . Experience in handling customers & mentoring, planning on ECM products for the customers . Ability to advise on implementation strategy, performance, tools, operations, release, deployment to the customers . Hands-on experience in deployment and configuration of production servers in clustered and HA environments . Experience in working in a global delivery model . Exposure to other CMS products like Vignette, FatWire, Liferayand SharePoint . Analyze the current trends in the ECM space and provide direction to the management team to make right decisions in ECM space . Architect, design reusable assets and solutions . Worked on at-least 1 migration project (legacy portal to IBM Websphere portal) . Should have good knowledge on IBM Content Manager tool . Should have participated in Design Analysis & validating the requirements - Gap Analysis . Experience in a WebSphere V7 Administrator role inclusive of High Availability issues and impacts within a complex multi-platform environment. . Experience of the installation and configuration or IBMHTTP Servers. . Knowledge of J2EE Development, Unix (specifically Solaris),Java and MQ exp would be an advantage as would knowledge of Tivoli Security Products. Requirements . 5+ years of total IT experience (at-least 3+ years of relevant exp) . Experience in IBM Portal developments .( End-To-End Implementation) . Expertise in at least one of the J2EE Web Application Framework like Spring MVC or Java Server Faces . Expertise in integration of IBM Portals with other systems using SOA . Comprehensive knowledge of at least one of the Portal frameworks such as IBM, Liferay etc. . Expertise in integration with IBM tools like Data Stage, Quality Stage with IBM Portal Server . Working knowledge of IBM Portal Application Architecture on Unix / Windows Infrastructure Job Responsibilities . Suggest and implement solutions to solve customer's problem in Portals facing Buyers / Vendors . Define Application Architecture in Portals . Tailor methodologies and macro issues to customer's needs . Lead package evaluation/strategy assignments for IBM Portals package . Lead and provide guidance during all stages of the life cycle of a project . Responsibilities to carry out WebSphere support in a live and test environment, administration, installation, configuration, upgrading, problem resolution, planning, performance monitoring and disaster recovery planning of the whole process.
