Chicago iL 6+months · Java developer more than 8 years required · Need a candidate who can work independently and does not need any direction outside of learning the internal systems. · We are seeking a doer; they want the candidate to have worked as a heads down coder for the past 1 year with low level design skills. · The ideal candidate will be very strong with Core and advanced Java concepts and this role is primarily focused on Server side and web services. · RESTful web services will be needed · One of the most important parts is ensuring the code of very high quality. · Hibernate is required · Candidate must at least have an understanding of Spring, but it will be required that the candidate have expertise with MVC (Spring or Struts) · The candidate should be able to explain the core principles of OOD and have a solid grasp of Design Patterns. · The ideal candidate should have exposure to Java Collections.
