E:dee...@hmgamerica.com* *Job Title : Consultant - Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity * * * *Location : Dallas, TX (Need candidates who are local – Must go for a Face to Face final interview) * *Duration : 6 Months Contract to Hire. * ** * * Job Description *Must have good experience in DR Exercises ( 5 + Years in DR testing / DR planning / DR managing ) Provide planning, coordination and facilitation of exercises for distributed and mainframe platform business critical applications. Development of exercise plans, post exercise issue analysis, resolution tracking and creation of Client summary reports. Provide assistance to other support team members in the direction and instruction of the recovery process, their expected responsibilities and team deliverables. The documentation and experience gained through the exercise drills enables the team to compile a DR Plan, which is reviewed by all support teams and approved for publication through the CLIENTS Management. The exercise and recovery documentation will be maintained, with version control, on the Client preferred storage medium (SharePoint / File Share). These documents may at times be reviewed by IT Audits and should be professionally written and easily accessible. The proposed consultant will participate in Client organized business continuity AWL drills as necessary for compliance and training. The proposed Consultant will also participate in CLIENTS meetings to represent HCL DR Team for consultation on the recovery process, exercise drills and technical data. Meet with vendors as necessary to provide insight on CLIENTS requirements and contract negotiation.
