Please respond back with an updated resume and all inclusive rates to recrui...@burgeonits.com * * Position: AS400 Admin Location: Houston, TX Duration: 6 months *Responsibilities* · Provide Level 2 Support and Level 3 Support for AS400s accordance with the Problem Management Procedures · Support AS400 Development and Production environments. · Manage and monitor data processing services performed by AS400s. · Comply with the AS400 availability plan in connection with the business requirements. · Coordinate with Third Parties, as required, to isolate or resolve complex network, operational or software Problems relating to AS400s. · Provide all AS400 production control services, including, ongoing maintenance of Software source code library. · Make available, monitor and process on-line and batch applications, and perform scheduled, unscheduled and on-request services as well as authorized user initiated processing. · Proactively assess and organize job schedules and processes according to the most efficient sequence, maximizing system throughput and utilization. · Set up and maintain job schedules, manage conflicts and issues related to the job schedules and tools. · Analyze and correct batch process errors, implement job performance analyses, and tune batch processes. · Support and schedule systems maintenance so as to minimize interference with Client’s business operations. · Manage availability of adequate file space for processing. · Maintain documentation for the changes made to the system.
