I'm enclosing the requirement I have with my Prime Vendor at Atlanta,GA.Please do submit your consultants who suit to the skillsets. *GC||Citizens||EADs Only* Senior QA Analyst - PeopleSoft Financials Testing 3 month+ contract Location: Atlanta,GA Rate : OPEN Job Description: *Responsibilities:* * Data mapping and data validation - comparing data in JD Edwards UI to PeopleSoft Financials UI. * Ensure that testing activities validate that applications meet business requirements and systems goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify existing or potential issues * Manage all aspects of testing for software development projects, problem fixes and enhancements throughout their development/product lifecycles * Test all new software to ensure that integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and technical specifications * Review/analyze software requirements and technical or functional specification documents to develop test cases to validate that the code meets requirements * Write and execute complex test cases that will validate the application performs according to functional specifications * Document detailed test results and effectively communicate to the team information about defects and issues found during testing * Track and trouble-shoot issues by communicating with developers and stakeholders while cycling through the development process * Identify regression testing opportunities * Verify and revise quality assurance standards as needed, while adhering to industry best practices * Analyze formal test results in order to discover and report any defects, bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws Required Skills: * 5-7 years of testing experience on PeopleSoft Financials (AP, AR, GL) * 7+ years working with HP Quality Center writing and executing test cases and managing defects (recent experience with HP ALM version 11) * 7+ years writing test plans and analyzing technical documents to produce testing strategies * 7+ years working with various testing methodologies such as Black Box, White Box and Gray Box * 3 to 5 years writing and executing SQL Queries on DB2/400 to retrieve database information for back end data verification * Experience with testing techniques such as equivalence partitioning and boundary value analysis * Experience with various SDLC methodologies * Experience interacting on technical and non-technical levels with Infrastructure, Network, Development, BA and other QA teams * Expert knowledge of the following Microsoft Office products is required * Word, Excel, and Outlook * Extremely strong attention to detail * Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), including facilitation and team leadership skills * Must be comfortable working in ambiguous and/or stressful situations * Must be self-motivated but know when to seek guidance * Must be flexible and know when to change priorities quickly * Must have the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously * Must have the ability and desire to learn new tools and technologies * Must have the ability to work independently and as a team member *Pluses:* * Previous experience testing JD Edwards World (Distribution and Logistics System) is a plus. * Conversion experience from JDE Financials: GL, AP, and AR to PeopleSoft is a plus, but not. * Experience with AS/400 - RPG is a plus, but not required. *Education:* * Associate, BS or BA degree in a related field * Any HP or Testing certification as follows: QC or QTP - ASQ - QAI - ISTQB - IIST -- Thank you *Sandeep R Tummuru || Resource Manager* *Clear Thought Solutions LLC.,* *Ph: 919 290 4346* *Email : **sand...@clearthoughtsolutions.com*<sand...@clearthoughtsolutions.com> *,* *gtalk : **sandy4cts* *Website : **www.clearthoughtsolutions.com <http://www.clearthoughtsolutions.com/>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "it req" group.
