We have an contract position with our Direct Client in *MD - Timonium * *Rate - $50/hr on C2C* *Job Description* *Work Location: MD - Timonium * *Platform: Client Server* *Job Title: Technical Specialist * *Start Date: 05/19/2014 End Date: 05/01/2015* *Explanation for Position:* Will be a member of Operations Portfolio development team responsible for high performance, real-time applications that are operations critical for UPS. *Details of Position:* C# programming in Visual Studio 2010\13, with a concentration on DB programming in T-SQL Stored Procedures and experience/knowledge of creating WinForms applications using N-tier client/server architecture. Also XML/XSD, TCP/IP Sockets, SQL OOP and SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture), Windows Application, Windows Services, Web Services, WCF with .NET 4.5 IIS Component-based, multithreaded server side programming. Development activities include real-time applications, services and management components. Knowledge and experience of designing and developing Business Intelligence and Reporting experience Is a desirable qualification. SQL and C# based N-tier client/server applications is a must. Hands on experience with Microsoft Visual Studio. SQL Stored procedures is integral to the job. Responsibilities also include participation in requirements analysis, technical designs, coding, unit testing, product test support, and deployment support. *Management Skills:* Must have Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Computer related or Electrical Engineering. 6+ year’s software development experience with Microsoft platform. Familiarity with all phases of the software development life cycle. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment with other developers, QA personnel, and user representatives. Must have excellent oral communication skills to interact with users and other team members. Must have excellent written communication skills to be able to write concise and understandable project documentation, functional specifications, user manuals and other technical materials.
