*Position: Project manager with prior State Farm exp* *Location: Bloomington, IL * *Duration: 12 months * *Rate: $50-55/hr C2C * · Very good exposure to all phases of project management (Initiate, Plan, Execute, Transition and Closedown). - · Ability to understand the scope of the effort and ensure effectiveness in meeting the established goals and targets. - · Ability to manage and work with multiple vendors. - · Ability to network with various State Farm systems and business team for effective project execution. - · Ability to manage Business stakeholder expectations. - · Work with Planner to effectively manage the schedule and ensure prompt delivery. - · Ability to estimate and project the cost and track it under control. - · Ensure the team is on track with the schedule. - · Ensure project resources are used appropriately - · Providing independent advice on the management of projects. - · Conduct regular meetings with team, sponsors and systems team at State Farm as required. - · Provide consistent status updates to State Farm Management and team. - · Making sure quality is built in the work delivered. - · Ability to track and manage requirements and facilitate change management process - · Ability to identify and anticipate risks, facilitate resolution, mitigation, or escalation when needed - · Ability to maintain team spirit. - Effective and good written and oral communication. - · PMP certification is added advantage. - · Good exposure to State Farm process will be added advantage.
